The humidity is coming down and the nights are cooling down to the 50's. Destinites are opening up their windows and enjoying the beautiful fall weather. As the temperatures drop the real estate market is finding it's way back up. With the shark attacks, hurricanes, red tide and eroding beaches Destin's real estate market was put on cruise control and for the first time in years sellers outnumbered buyers. As the inventory of houses for sale grew along came many price reductions. I personally feel there are bargains available currently in Destin. So much so that my wife and I just purchased our second home in Destin, a lakefront 4 bedroom 3 bath that we plan to rent. Our purchase price came in at well less than $200 a square foot - a feat in itself in Destin. Now is the time to take advantage of the soft market and get those offers in!
